i can’t believe that thanksgiving is only a few days away! i know that most of you probably have your thanksgiving menus set already, but just in case you’re looking for another dish, i thought i’d share this amazingly delicious vegetarian tart with you. it has all of my favorite holiday foods – spinach, walnuts, cranberries, celery, and onions, plus chickpeas to hold the other ingredients together. we made it for a fakesgiving last night (which was a great way to celebrate with friends AND try out new recipes!), and absolutely loved it.

mike and i love making pizza at home. we usually use this recipe, which produces a thick crust pizza. but during our visit to california in june, we were lucky enough to sample two different delicious homemade thin-crust pizza doughs at our friends’ houses, and we decided it was time to try a thin crust pizza on our own.

whew, it’s been a whirlwind week for us – first with a trip to chicago to say goodbye to my sister and noah before they leave for amsterdam, and then our two close friends visited us in seattle. before i get back to the regularly scheduled job search, though, i wanted to take a moment and share this fun recipe with you.
