it doesn’t seem possible, but school is starting tomorrow…
i know that for all intents and purposes summer is over – but i want to sneak in one last summer recipe before acknowledging that it’s actually fall. we can at least pretend it’s still summer together, right?
i know the calendar says it’s september, but we’re in full-swing summer weather up here in seattle, and loving it!
this has been quite a roller coaster of a week – we were lucky enough to spend a fun weekend with mike’s cousin (natalie) and her wonderful family in portland, but then we learned mid-week of the passing of my grandma’s sister – an inspirational woman who lived a full 99 years of life.
