I put my bulk goods in plastic, so I don&#039;t have to worry about glass falling on my head off my open shelves in an earthquake (it&#039;s almost happened before). I put a bay leaf or two in each container along with the beans, rice, etc. Haven&#039;t had bugs yet.</description>
