@jessi: oatmeal made on the stove is definitely a completely different thing than oatmeal made in the microwave - it's such a treat!

@westi: it was hard to stomach a full breakfast! but somehow we managed :)

@laura: it was a great day because we were with so many awesome people like you!

@mike's mom: thank you for the anniversary wishes, and thank you for the plethora of ways you made our wedding both possible and special!

It was such a nice day, despite the rain. And of course, I was eating oatmeal while I read your post.

Happy Anniversary Mike and Emilie! I was only able to stomach 2 soy sausages on the morning of my wedding (and didn't eat again until the reception around 6ish) so I'm uber impressed that you guys actually ate breakfast! I wish you many more years of oatmeal breakfasts together.

Awww! Thank you so much for writing about your wedding, since I flaked out on attending. I feel all mushy inside, kind of like a bowl of oatmeal. ;-)

I have oatmeal almost every day for breakfast, but cooked in the microwave. You've just reminded me that it's not the same thing at all.
